Car marking is performed using the following technologies:
- laser technology – marking windows, lights and side mirrors
- marker – car interior marking that is only visible in UV light, it does not change the visual appearance of the interior
- Marking stickers that are put onto the front side windows of the car highlighting the marking, and it improves security by warning and notifying the thief
- Data is maintained in the Autonams Marked Car Database – databases of CSDD, Ministry of Interior
- In case of a theft, the data is submitted to the CSDD and the Ministry of Interior IC information system “Missing Vehicles”

- If the car side mirrors are marked, it will be too dangerous for the thief to sell them as the identification numbers marked in the mirrors allow to pinpoint the car that the mirrors were stolen from.

- Highly visible warning stickers on the side mirrors that indicate that the mirrors are marked
